Discover the Other offers a range of training products and consulting services for successful management of diversity and workplace conflict resolution. These can be specifically tailored to meet your organization’s needs. Products include:

Discover the Other half-day workshop
Discover the Other logoThe Discover the Other half-day workshop is an excellent way for managers and employees to understand and experience the Four Keys to Relationships – essential tools for creatively engaging with diversity.  This fast-moving and experiential workshop uses a combination of teaching, listening exercises, role-play and introspection to bring about a change of thinking and behaviour around diversity.

One and Two-day Discover the Other workshops.
These longer workshops combine the basic teaching of the half-day workshop with more in-depth training in listening and conflict resolution. These workshops can be specially formulated to meet the particular needs of your organization. They are ideal for situations where there is existing conflict or a high risk of conflict because one or more groups is seen as “other” – either because they are culturally different or because of a company merger or take-over.

Conflict mediation
In cases of conflict where trust has severely broken down, an outside mediator can be essential. Discover the Other offers conflict mediation services, either on-site or, where appropriate, off-site in a “safe space” for dialogue.

Consultancy services in managing diversity
Managing diversity is fast being recognized as an essential skill for leaders and human resource managers in the 21st Century. Discover the Other brings together the latest thinking in this area combined with decades of experience in trustbuilding and conflict management across different cultures.

The Intercultural Communication and Collaboration Appraisal (ICCA™)
The ICCA™ is a comprehensive diagnosis framework, which analyses the cultural predisposition of individuals – thought patterns, attitudes and behavioural tendencies – and compares them against the average results for 25 countries. This helps participants to become increasingly culturally competent and skilled in professional interactions. It adjusts thinking and behaviour leading to more success and less stress in global endeavours. Read more about ICCA
